The presentation was at a Greenway Equipment John Deere dealership in Sikeston, Missouri. The farmer that found the 2 green cups was Mark (father) and Matt (son) Deane.
The Kenny Rogers Children’s Center and The Food Bank of NE Arkansas were each awarded a $2,000 donation for a combined $4,000 total donation from Talc USA and Greenway Equipment in Sikeston, MO. The donation is part of the Talc USA’s Green Cup Promotion between a Talc USA dealer and the farmer that discovered the cup.
Greenway from Sikeston, MO, sold talc to Mark (father) and Matt (son) Dean from Triple D Farms. Inside two of the pails of talc was a green measuring cup engraved placard congratulating them on winning their Green Cup Promotion and instructing them to return the cup to the point of purchase to receive $500.00 per Green Cup for a combined total of $1,000. Greenway was awarded $2,000, for each green cup found, to donate in their local community to an organization of their choice. They choose to give one donation to the Kenny Rogers Children’s Center and the other donation to The Food Bank of NE Arkansas.
This was a very rare thing that has never happened before. One farm, Triple D Farms, found two difference Green Cups. One Green Cup was from 2016 and the other Green Cup was from 2017. Talc USA honored both Green Cups leading to Mark and Matt winning a combined total of $1,000 in parts and a combined donation total of $4,000.
