Area farmer Mike Fox of Carson, IA opened up a bucket of talc that he had purchased from Horizon Equipment and was surprised to find a green cup inside. This special cup indicated that he was the winner of a $500 Horizon Equipment gift certificate!
In addition, the cup meant that Horizon Equipment, the participating dealer, would be able to select four FFA chapters to receive monetary donations on behalf of Talc USA! Representatives from Talc USA presented four checks worth $500 each to FFA chapters at the following schools : IKM/Manning, AHST (Avoca), Riverside (Oakland) and Missouri Valley. The FFA groups are free to use the money however they see fit to benefit their programs.
Horizon Equipment is thrilled to see area youth who are interested in agriculture, benefit due to our involvement with Talc USA.
