Grossenburg Implement out of Laurel, Nebraska is proud to award a cash donation to Laurel-Concord-Coleridge FFA and Allen Consolidated FFA, as part of the Talc USA Green Cup Promotion. This is the 5th year Talc USA has run their Green Cup Promotion.
During the 2014 growing season, Talc USA placed one green cup within three individual 20 pound pail of talc. This green cup had a gold engraved placard, telling the lucky winner to return the cup to their point of purchase to receive a $500 gift card to purchase parts at their local dealership. Out of 300 dealerships, across 19 states, Marlin, Cindy, Doug, and Gretta Kraemer, of Allen, NE, are one of the lucky local customers who discovered the coveted green cup.
For the winning dealership, Talc USA’s promotion included making a $2,000 donation to the local school of the dealership’s choice. The dealership selected Laurel-Concord-Coleridge FFA and Allen Consolidated FFA departments to be the winner of this award. Bill Chase, the Allen FFA sponsor and Katelyn DeHaan, the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge sponsor plan to use the money to support their chapters to attend State and National conventions as well as expand the resources the student have available to them at their local school.
Steve Johnson, Owner, and Corey Hill, Regional Sales Representative, Talc USA look forward to continuing this educational funding program in the future and hope that it inspires other businesses to develop similar programs on an annual basis. Steve enjoys giving back to the farmers and communities!
